Dr. Vishwanath, is a consultant Orthodontist with over 26 years of clinical experience in the field of Orthodontics. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in the year 1990 from Mysore University, India, securing first rank with two gold medals and two additional awards. He completed his post-graduation Master of Dental.
Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics and dento facial orthopedics in 1996 from famed Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, India. He has more than 8 years of academic experience in India, in addition to his role as visiting consultant to various multi-specialty clinics across cities in India.
He moved overseas to the United Arab Emirates in 2003, and worked as a Consultant Orthodontist at NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai, for over nine years. He was awarded the “Best Orthodontically treated case” by Aesthetic dentistry MENA in 2009. He relocated to Brunei in 2011 and worked as Consultant Orthodontist at Jerudong Park Medical Centre for over seven years.
He received the Fellow of World Federation of Orthodontics award (FWFO) U.S.A in 2012. He was awarded Membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, U.K (Morth Rcs ) in 2014.
He was recognised as the Brand ambassador of American Association of Orthodontics (AAO for south-east asia region from 2017 – 2020.
Dr Vish, as he is popularly known amongst his patients, has worked at Premier Dental and Orthodontic Centre from 2017 to 2020, offering the full range of Orthodontic services to his patients. Dr Vish was part of the clinical team of their dental group that achieved the first ever exclusive full status dental accreditation by the Malaysian society of Quality in Health in 2020. He is well versed with the health and safety aspects and infection control protocols in a modern dental practice.
His passion is to attend International conferences to update his knowledge and skills, and enjoys travelling.
